Very nice hotel, very clean, well maintained. Great location to the colonial historic district. The hotel had 2 restaurants that were very hard to get into and prices were high. Reservations are a must. No free breakfast is offered with this hotel which is a turn off for me. I was also very turned off with the hotel charging $25 per night for parking. You have no other option, so you have to pay it. It’s a classic hidden fee that hotels like to hit you with. This is a very nice upscale hotel in a convenient location, but you pay for it. Next time, we are going to look for better value.

There was no rug on the floor, which is just cold and uncomfortable. The housekeeping staff, doormen were so friendly and helpful. The people at the main desk were so unfriendly and never smiled. We stayed in the main section of the lodge - we had never stayed there before. We had always been in a back room. We will probably not stay at the Lodge again.

We enjoyed our stay immensely at this property. The staff and all that work there, whether it was in the stores, restaurants, house keeping, front desk, the bellmen ... you name it, were ALL very accomodating, knowledgeable and kind. This is a great place to stay while enjoying the lovely sites and history there. Everyone worked as a team .... this resort has a great bench of folks coming together each day to make our stay the best. Indulge yourself!!!

We had an overall great stay. We have stayed at the lodge several times and its always excellent. I would like to point out our room 4313 was very loud. The wood floors creaked very loudly; worst was the guest above us. I could tell they weren't doing anything out of the ordinary, but we could hear every step every text message. I'm not sure how you fix this, but I could never stay under another room again on our next stay.

I felt it was way overpriced for the room we were given. The room was not very clean. Which is my number one concern.
