Excellent night's sleep

From the outside, My Place Suites looks like a motel from the 1950s on Route 66. However, inside the rooms are great. We had the suite with the kitchen. This gave us a separate bedroom. While we ended up doing no cooking, everything was there if we wanted to.
The bed is HUGE and comfortable. Bathroom is fine. The whole suite was very clean; absolutely zero dust and this town is a bit dusty.
I wish I remember the hosts name. Really nice kid who made sure we got in okay, knew how to work the shower, etc.
The only thing that is a slight challenge is the small parking lot. With cowboys staying at the hotel, everyone has a truck or something big. We ended up in the evening just parking on the street right next to the hotel. Zero problems with that.
If you require 3-4 types of Himalayan pink bath salt, this is not your motel - just drive on down to Phoenix. If you want just a good, basic comfortable place to stay, this is a perfect place for you.
Wickenburg itself is a slightly strange town. Friendly folks, interesting old town, etc, but a lot of the town seems to shut down at 3pm and several of the diners we wanted to try were closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
About an eight minute walk from My Place is Buttermilk & Honey Bakery. Well worth a visit. They open at 7am and sell out quickly - and a course, this being Wickenburg, shuts at 3pm.

A little past its prime but clean, comfortable and a good value

This is a quaint little property that was probably quite delightful in its day. Today, it offered a clean room--suite--at a good value and in a good location. The small kitchenette was functional but limited. (Coffee was provided but no tea.) The bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom functional and clean but the sink and tub were missing their stoppers. (A rubber stopper was provided for the tub.) The staff member who checked us in was very nice and even showed us to our room and made sure we knew how everything worked. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it.

Jeep broke down in Wickenberg

Room was like a small studio apartment. Room was clean. Pool was nice. Walking distance to downtown. Seth the desk attendant was helpful with towels and things. He gave me a ride to the dealership to pickup my Jeep after repairs needed. THANKS SETH!!

Great place very friendly!

This place is amazing! The staff is so friendly and clean! Walked us to our rooms got us settled! Quiet clean and the best place we stayed on our 10 day trip! Stay here for a relaxing time! Give them a try! We will recommend this place over any! Safe travels!

BEST HOTEL EVER!

Without question the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. And that’s saying something from a couple who have spent hundreds and hundreds of nights in various hotels around the world. Clean, unique, imaginative, and a hundred other superlatives. 100% recommended for all travelers. Just say there, you will know what I’m talking about.
