PDX Visit: Pleasant Stay at Hampton Inn & Suites
Free, daily hot breakfast was served and the hotel was very accessible to many locations. Coming from LA, I loved seeing the murder of crows hanging out in the trees surrounding the hotel at night.
The pool is designed to be more kid-friendly (1 ft. to 4 ft.), however a few laps are doable, and the fitness center has a decent amount of equipment for workout routines.
The hotel staff was very friendly and we will consider staying here again for our next visit to Oregon!

Family Friendly with Pool and Breakfast
Rooms are clean and basic in terms of amenities. No plates or cutlery as others have mentioned but they will provide paper and plastic on request. Cleaning is every other day. Heating/cooling was too loud so can’t have it on constantly. Just turned on to warm up the room then had to turn it off. Our room was right next to the rooftop entrance so probably not great on warmer days when more people are likely to use it as you’ll hear the door opening and closing constantly with voices. Rooms are not well soundproofed as we could also hear the next door bathroom. Will definitely request a different room next time. Giving 5 stars because overall our experience was great and it provided excellent value for money compared with all the 4/5 star hotels. We would definitely stay again.
