Note: Train goes by the back of the Inn. Didn’t bother us at all but be aware (it is loud and long!)
Also, if just looking for a night stay, in off season, grab dinner before you get there. Location is a Theme Park, that must open only seasonally, so only choices there were Burger King and 7 Eleven.

The bed skirts was torn, Old furniture. not enough outlets in the room. The manager was polite we had to change the first room the bed looked scary, but the second really no better but i guess you get what you pay for, so glad it was only one night. Oh the shower was the best part !

Pool area: Room key card would not unlock door. Front desk attendant mentioned the pool door is locked and accessible by attendant only. She repeatedly hit the door knob to loosen the mechanism and unlocked the door with a key. The pool area did not seem ventilated enough (though plenty of windows). Immediately I noticed the dusty vent cover. The pool towels were smaller than average bath towel and felt rough. The pool did have handicap seat equipment (needed fresh paint).
Breakfast: 1 star. The best part of breakfast were the waffles. The sausage links did not look appealing, and the breakfast potatoes tasted like cardboard. Other food items, Yoplait yogurt, sliced bread, muffins, instant oatmeal (no hot water to use instant oatmeal packet), vending machine for orange/apple juice (not tasty).
Cookie tray: I noticed a cookie tray in a room behind the front desk station while moving my car after check-in and saw the cookie tray set out in the am around breakfast by the front desk. Now I don't know if the cookies were leftovers and more were "baked", passed.
Overall: 2 stars. Booked a one night stay after Kings Dominion. I would not stay more than one night.
