Very nice fairly new hotel with nice friendly people, 12/09-12/11

I was in Denver for meetings with contractors on one of my projects so only two nights. I picked this hotel because I had never stayed here on any previous visits to our Denver plant- gives me a chance to see different parts of the area, although this trip it was too dark when I left in the morning and when I returned in the evening, and gives me a chance to try new restaurants. I tried two new ones this trip including a Texas Roadhouse and the Black Bear Diner (separate reviews added for both of those and both were very good and a short walk from the hotel, even in the freezing cold and snow)- both recommended by Jon at the front desk.
I had a nice quiet room on the top floor

An excellent stay!

Our stay was above and beyond expectation! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning had a great variety of selections, but what was most impressive was how the person running the breakfast came to ask if everything was to our liking. She also came to refill water glasses without us asking, and her friendliness was very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to those staying in this area.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. We didn’t have a very night of sleep, the bed springs squeaked loudly every time we would move.

People above me were extremely noisy and constantly going back and forth all night long! Front desk personnel were pleasant and greater the guest with smiles. The breakfast was filling and hot each morning. The staff in the kitchen on my last day was very attentive to my needing help to get to the elevator with my food and was on a cain causing me to almost have to go back and forth. The one thing that really took away from the stay was that each time I turned the heat on the room smelled like dog urine and the scent of an animal got stronger each time (I am allergic to cats and dogs). I wish there were rooms set aside for those of use who don’t travel with pets.

the bathroom sliding door was broken off and wasn’t screwed in correctly, the ceiling had mold forming. would not stay here again, prior to even booking i called and made sure that 18 and up could check in which it states on the booking page. the man told me that was correct, when i went to check in the lady at the front desk said that i was 19, which im not im 20 and that i couldn’t check in and i said no they said i could and she argued with me about it and said i booked through expedia and i in fact did not book with them. for a more comfort stay. stay within the hotels around there!
