Amazing location and service!!

Been there for 5 days just before moving to Krabi and continuing our honeymoon, the Location is amazing!! Just perfect to see many places not to far from it! The lady at the reception was amazing! She organised a long tail boat trip for us at a very good price and she also took us there by bus ❤️ she also didn’t want us to pay for the bus! We always been told that Thai peoples are amazing, that was the confirmation ❤️ thank you ❤️

Very good stay

Very pleasant hotel, well located close to the major sites of Bangkok, at a moderate price. The staff are adorable, the cleanliness impeccable. On the ground floor, very pleasant restaurant for breakfast, with very good coffee. The river is very close to take the shuttles. The neighborhood is relatively quiet.

Lazy, cruel and dishonest

I had some money stolen at this place, and instead of doing the decent thing and investigating, the owner has done anything to stall the process, by first yelling and denying, than promising to show the security tape, only to disappear and not respond later. He kept fighting, deflecting, blaming ME, hanging up, etc. all the way knowing that the tape will get recorded over soon (I didn't know that), so by the time I finally got exasperated and went to the police, he declared there is no record. In addition the worker I had doubts about threatened all kinds of nasty stuff based on knowing my passport and personal info.
The place is rather dirty too, staff doesn't respond unless you complain a lot. Unless you want a giant headache when dealing with any problems, just avoid the place.

Pleasant stay at superb location

I stayed at the Royal Thai Tien two nights while my stayat Bangkok.
The location is superb just 5 minutes walk from Grand Palace. There are amazing temples, restaurants and bars nearby and several transport options as well.
Service was good ( I was bit disappointed we didn't get more advice on the dressing code for the palace just meters away)
and the rooms were super spacious with good views.
I only would mention that the room lacked a big mirror, just a small one in the bathroom, and a bed side table ( you need to get up to turn off the light off). The hotel owns a restaurant/ coffee shop would prove handy if you want a breakfast/ food close to your room.

Hidden Gem in the Heart of the Old Town

Just opposite Wat Pho, on the bank of the Chao Praya River, and 5 mins walk from the subway.
Quaint little old-style townhouse. Wooden rooms, comfortable furniture and cheap prices.
Ideal location for wandering around the old town.
