Solo trip for 2 days
Lovely small cottage rooms, clean and vest close to the beach.
The hotel is a brilliant swimming pool, great breakfast, and a golf cart which takes you around within the hotel.
A bit far away from tourist spots, but can rent a bike or car for 300-500 bhat and go around easily.
The place is very close to Lomprayah jetty in case travelling from Koh Tao or Bangkok via bus.

Excellent for the port.
Beautiful beach but obviously in front of the port there are many boats docked that come and go. In short, great for one night and away spending little but not to stay more days. However a 3-star property that for the assigned room is worth 2.
I am sure my less than excellent experience will be by chance. I repeat that all the staff was great but would not return.

Felt this was good value for the money we paid.
The hotel must find a way to avoid people taking all the sunbeds putting the towel there from 0800AM but not show up before lunch.

Transportation from and two the Samui airport was effortless and timely.
After Thong Sala beach in Koh Phangnan, Haad Maenam is a disappointment. The granularity of the sand is larger than the powder of Thong Sala, and a bit uncomfortable when walking.
For our purposes, Coco Palm Beach is an excellent choice.

Everything only German , also price/performance does not fit
- Staff speak poor English and
if you want something, you have to
min. 3x follow up
- Bed occupancy on the beach
from 7.00, then everything is full
- not enough sun loungers
for all guests
- Management is not present,
allegedly always in Bangkok
- some guests have no behavior:
-- in bathing clothes for breakfast
-- occupy on the beach and pool
