This stylish spa hotel is 100 metres from Astorga Town Hall, in the city centre. It offers an extensive spa and modern rooms with free WiFi. Rooms at the Hotel SPA Vía de la Plata feature parquet floors and smart, elegant décor.

Good hotel in the center
The building has three floors although the last one has no rooms.
The reception staff is friendly and effective.
It has two elevators, which seems like enough.
The hallways have somewhat poor lighting and the identification of the rooms were difficult to see.
The room for individual use was +40 m2 and consisted of the room, living room and bathroom with a very wide distribution.
The 2x2m bed was comfortable and the pillows were correct.
The soundproofing was relatively good, you could hardly hear the noise from the street and nothing from the hallway.
The lighting was correct and could be left completely in the dark.
The furniture was in good condition and there was plenty, including a sofa, several armchairs, tables, etc.
The TV was about 42", and it looked great. There were many local and national Spanish DTT channels in addition to hundreds of platforms, including others in English, German, French, etc.
The air conditioning could be regulated individually, although it was not enabled.
The bathroom was spacious and comfortable to use. I had a shower space and a bathtub space. The bathroom lighting was correct. Faucets and towels were fine.
Breakfast was good.
The Wifi worked fine, although it arrived weak.
In short, a good option close to the city center.

Nice hotel with small weaknesses.
The very good breakfast (buffet), if not included in the price, could be booked for €12.
One negative point is that the hotel does not have a restaurant and the associated spa area is subject to a fee for hotel guests.
Some of the furniture was also very worn and damaged.
