This motor lodge is in very poor condition. The floors were sticky and we discovered a lot of rubbish including a dead cockroach underneath the couch. The tv did not work, apparently there is no aerial.

Should be a one star “hotel”
Stayed one night and after the family who lives in the house where reception is had a family domestic outside our room we felt unsafe with our young children and wanted to leave. Not sure if it’s their son but a male yelled at his girlfriend calling her a skank and sped off down the drive with no care for any possible children or pedestrians around.
Firstly we asked for a cot for our infant, checked in and there was no cot. TV remote wasn’t working so had to call for someone to replace the batteries. Fridge is old and mouldy although the microwave in our room was actually clean.
The family that live there which I presume are the owners take up the front car parks with their own vehicles. The sign says it’s for “visitors” and so we had to park in other guests allocated parks. If you’re a “motor” lodge make sure there’s car parks for each room. Seems like an identity crisis going on with this place cos it also is far from being a 4 star haha
The playground is a joke. Just take down the damn sign what is the point of getting kids excited for a crusty old swing set.
The pool also seems to be out of order indefinitely. These people probably don’t even want to invest in replacing the filters which look so dated too. Such a shame because it would be a great drawing factor for summer.
Could use a receptionist who sits there physically rather than making guests call and chase them up. There was one worker doing everything when we arrived.
Wouldn’t recommend this place ever and after doing a quick google - there’s even a stuff article about how poorly this place is LOL never making this mistake again. Location is great hence booking but you can get better for same price at Quest in Albany

Absolute Dump
What a dump, definitely showing signs of being used as an emergency housing facility with no repairs or updates since that time. Fittings are old and well used.
Location is perfect, everything else is shocking.
Small number of staff, so room not cleaned as per website details, no receptionist, all done via phone to a call centre.

Bad experience
Disgracefully run establishment, leaking toilet, smoke alarm bleeping all night, no air conditioning , fans broken so too noisy to run, power socket not working. No hairdryer in bathroom . Only one cleaner for whole motel so in not able to service all units in her long, long day. Only reason we had towels changed after first day was because we went and fetched them. Manager on site not available to receive our concerns . Swimming pool and spa pool clearly not maintained so it closed. Don’t advise anyone to stay here. They do not have the staff to give the paying consumer what they advertise. A totally unacceptable experience

Didn't even make it to check in
Our booking was cancelled on the day we were booked to arrive. Our card declined, but no one called to even ask why. I called 5 minutes after receiving the cancellation email and apparently our room was already booked (I don't believe them). I explained why the card declined. We definitely had the money and could have paid within 2hours or on arrival.
I come on here to make a review and see all the other bad reviews. We probably dodged a bullet having our booking cancelled.
