Don’t belive everything you read!

Each to their own I read some bad reviews but for myself and mum we had a wonderful experience at hotel di Ann. We had a lovley room very clean and warm with daily cleaning fresh towels. Really safe building , also had a communal area with coffee machine and seating area and balcony. Our room was next to the check in desk had a balcony also and of course steep steps are to be expected in any Dutch building that was no problem at all. Location fantastic. Staff were lovley we was checked in by anima who was really nice :) don’t belive everything you read if you want a cheap hotel to smoke maryjaneon the balcony this is the place :)

This hotel was dreadful, wasn’t anything like the pictures, blood on the sheets, asked to move room was even worse, more blood on another sheet, window wide open and didn’t close properly, nothing was clean would not recommend even for a 2*, have been denied a refund as couldn’t stay they had to find another hotel after travelling all day. I have emailed and no response utterly disappointed

The room was very basic, it was very cold at night as the heating wasn’t working and the duvets were extremely thin. There was middle of the night entertainment which was either the smoke alarm going off , people shouting and throwing stuff around .
Very good location but wouldn’t recommend otherwise .

If you just need a place to spend the night, this hotel is fine. A friend told me it’s a “box hotel”, there was no space in the room to do more than sleep. The bathroom was fine. It’s good to be aware that the reception is on the second floor, up a very narrow and steep staircase, hard to navigate with a suitcase. I appreciated the young man at the reception that helped me bring my suitcase to my room on the fourth floor.

It was a basic single room with a balcony 407! Top floor. Steep stairs! Like I said it was very basic with TV, heating and a very hot shower with a good hair dryer. Can't complain as it was very cheap and I needed a balcony to smoke. Staff was friendly. Hotel location is amazing,5mins from dam sq a few mins walk to Anne frank. Could walk every from the location. I would stay again as it's cheap and has balcony. Cleaning every day! I didn't have any storage or safe. Had to bring the chair in from the balcony to put my stuff on
