Positive stay in the b/b Donna Ada

Stay in the b/b in via Genovese, very convenient location because it is central. Clean and welcoming room.
We had a good time and recommend it. The girl who welcomed us was friendly and helpful.

Rudeness and arrogance.

Premise: the lady who greeted us on the first day was of a unique kindness. Average room, definitely insufficient bathroom, it is a chemical bathroom and very small, you can barely turn around because you attached the bidet in front of the toilet. Shower small but hot water ok. It would be a b&b of 6, if it weren't for the Owner arrogant in a shameful way. While we were in the room we witnessed a real fight, with him yelling at a foreign lady who had just arrived and his “colleague” who welcomed us too decidedly in difficulty in responding to his enraged. We were quiet in bed and we were disturbed by these screams of the Owner where he told the assistant to translate to the lady that if he did not like the room, he could sit outside and look for another b&b. If he's going to treat people who bring him money like that, he better give it all up to someone. P.S: as well as arrogant and cunning, he makes you cancel your Reservation on Booking upon arrival and only wants CASH money. Terrible person.

Would not return

Very simple B&B located in a quite convenient location to visit the city. Not having a kitchen is fine to spend there a maximum of two nights.
Standard double bed, uncomfortable single beds and absurd mattresses.
The girl who welcomed us was nice and helpful, certainly not like the Owner who does not even remember the telephone arrangements....
The structure had been chosen because there was in theory a parking (on booking) but in reality I parked far enough for a fee despite having contacted and been guaranteed the opposite the day before...
Value for money not good, too expensive for what it offers.

Disadvised

Terrible stay, I strongly advise against it. I'll start by saying that we were traveling by train and a week before I called the owner to find out if we could leave a backpack with bedroom things, leave for the coast, and then return in the evening and check in. He replied to me in an arrogant, overbearing and very rude tone that I had only booked on booking and that he had no place. Scared, I replied that I had given my credit card details for payment and confirmation. Annoyed, he replied "ma'am, I'm telling you again that you haven't booked", there are many facilities in Salerno where you can stay. I was shocked and tried to understand what had happened and every time he replied "Ma'am, I'm telling you again that I don't have room". The third time I replied in an annoyed tone that he was treating me like a fool and that he was the least suitable person to manage a B&B. . Immediately after each sent to him (via the booking portal) an email asking him to put me in writing that he had no place. Naturally I didn't receive any reply email from him and therefore I called booking assistance who called him and after a while they confirmed that my place was there and that if I still had problems they would solve it with a 'other structure. I reluctantly had to go to him, he didn't let me check in in the morning and we had to carry our luggage with us to visit the coast, I won't tell you the non-existent welcome but luckily apart from the accommodation everything else was Beautiful.

nice location

Visiting to see the lights in Salerno, this B&B is very close to the center behind the cathedral... we took the suite for four, two adults and two children... nice and clean room, the girl who welcomed us was friendly and helpful... all ok
