Best of times; worst of times
Room was good with excellent views of the bay. But stank of smoke which isn’t wonderful for non-smoking. Room very clean every day but might have used air freshener etc. we walked into a clean but smelly room each day.
Staff very average - I suspect it’s down to poor management / training rather than the individuals. Let’s take the basics - a place setting is really 5 thing: a knife / fork / spoon / napkin / glass. On not one of the five days we stayed did we get all 5 items - just what was randomly to hand. And that’s after we had to request the table cleared each time. We ended up eating yoghurt with a fork etc as easier.
Mid bill payment front desk picks up a call and talks away for 5 mins leaving us standing waiting.
On the positive, security staff were always very happy and pleasant.
First world issues / minor but symptomatic of a place in decline; and overall not good value for money.
