A Beach Paradise in Diu
It's a small hamlet right on the Ghoghla beach. Rooms size is perfect for a couple, can accommodate 1 child with extra bed.
Breakfast is decent, Restaurant service & staff are excellent- Aman & Aryan at restaurant deserve special thanks.
Cons: No recreational activity at resort.
Pros : The best part of this resort is direct access to the beach. The beach itself is approx 3 km long with clean soft sand, minimal crowd and some water sports. Perfect for a Walk or Run. Great Sunrise views.
You will find this beach a bliss when compared to crowded Nagoa beach.
Overall, the best stay in Diu. Would love to visit again.

Overall an okay place to stay
So we booked for 2 nights here. The design and ambience of the place is pretty good however lacks hospitality on a lot of points.
1. Overall room cleaning was pathetic
2. We had ordered for Paneer Malai Tikka on one of the nights and it was sour and we had to ask for it to be replaced. When we first informed IRD we were told it would be replaced then after 5mins again we got a call from someone asking what was the issue when we had clearly told what the issue was and we were even counter challenged that the chef found the dish to be okay.
3. On 1st June when we ordered food we were asked for payment upfront without citing any reason. The server said sir paisa abhi bharna padega koi aur option nahi hai! I mean was your order taker sleeping when he was taking the order that he forgot to inform.
4. Although the property is next to the beach you cannot enter the water and you'll be shooed off by some random patrolling guy. No notice by the property of not entering the beach
5. Overhead shower in the bathroom is literally a bad experience. No hand shower in the room
6. Minibar does not even chill what's the use of keeping it and wasting electricity unnecessarily.
There are a lot more options especially in the Nagao Beach area and with more facilities. Paying 10k per night the experience we got in return was not even worth 4k.

Good Hotel with a Potential to become Great!
Diu, as a small place that isn't yet commercialized, there are not many good/luxury options to stay. The Praveg Ghoghla resort (its more of a hotel for now though and not a resort considering the amenities), is definitely one of the better options for a stay in this hamlet. The best of the hotel is the Ghoghla beach, which is the best beach in Diu - it is clean and not at all crowded and is almost like a private beach for the hotel guests. The view of the Arabian Sea from the room is mesmerizing and I can ignore all the shortcomings just for this very reason (although they must maintain the way to the beach from the rooms as there are a lot of bushes). The cottages are unique and the room is very good. The service is also good - I had planned this trip to celebrate my son's 10th birthday and they made it special by decorating the room beautifully and providing a complimentary cake (although I had to follow up multiple times for it).
Coming to food, the breakfast buffet is decent, however, the variety is limited and a lot of the items are repeated daily. Ala carte food is very expensive which is one of the many aspects they should look at considering not many options being available outside (probably they can come up with a 2 meal option in the booking package).
Coming to activities in the hotel, there isn't much to do - they don't even have a games room for kids - just a few swings and a smallish swimming pool that's all. Thankfully, they had a cricket kit which really proved to be a good way to spend time playing with inside the room :)
The hotel/resort, just like Diu, has a lot of potential to become a great one in the future, if they work on some of the above mentioned stuff!

Disappointing Experience
I recommend booking this hotel only if you're absolutely certain about your travel plans, as the management is not very cooperative. Based on positive reviews, I reserved three rooms and informed them upfront that I would be traveling with kids and elderly family members. I expressed that I might need to cancel in case of unfavorable circumstances, and they assured me they would consider such requests. I paid 50% upfront, but despite notifying them ten days before my stay about the severe weather conditions and government alerts in Gujarat, I was still charged the full amount for cancellation. I usually book through Booking.com, but this time I chose this hotel based on their assurances. This experience left me quite unhappy, and I would hesitate to recommend this hotel in the future, despite its other positive aspects.

The hospitable and generous staff is going to make your stay super special
My wife was 6 month pregnant and we went there for our babymoon vacation. Apparently our IndiGo flight forgot to board our checked-in bag at the departing airport due to staff's internal mistake. Because of that our first 2 days out of 4 were stressful and tiring.
On the day of check-in, we had a quick initial chat with Sanjay bhai - the manager of Praveg Resort at Ghoghla beach, and shared our problem. While talking, we did not know or expect that Sanjay bhai would/could do anything to help us or make things even the slightest bit easier for us. But I was wrong; he surprised us by offering the use of the cars (that the resort employs for its internal operations) to visit market and buy some essentials, and that too for 2 days. This generous gesture won our hearts because I knew how difficult it was for my wife without the essentials during those 2 days.
Sanjay bhai, a special thanks to you for your generous gesture of care. It really gave us a level of ease.
The food as well was okay, and the restaurant staff as well were supportive.
They helped us and made our dish little bit milder when it was spicey for us, without any hesitation.
The room and the amenities were as well really nice. You may face issue about Wi-Fi range, but if it's possible for them, I am sure they will help you about it. They helped us as well by offering us another available room.
And of course, the view and direct access to the beach (even from the restaurant while dining) will make your stay unforgettable if you truly love and appreciate nature.
