Located in central Reykjavik, 150 metres from Laugavegur Shopping Street, is Fosshotel Rauðará. It offers parking upon availability and with surcharge, a 24 hour reception and rooms with WiFi access.

Fantastic Stay! Great location!
Check in was very simple, we were early so used the luggage room to store our bags so we could go out for the day. We
also used this on check out day. Check out was also very quick.
Breakfast was really good with a large variety of hot and
cold foods, staff were lovely and always helpful.
The rooms were great with a wardrobe, safe, tv, kettle and tea / coffee and recycle bins provided. Beds were very comfortable and plenty
of blankets.
Bathroom facilities were great too with shower gel provided, face cloths, tissues, towels and a hair dryer.
Location was perfect for us. We could see Hallsgrimskirkja Church and were around a 10 minute, relaxed walk away. The main part of town is about another 5 minutes away, if that. On the last day we did it in the snow and it wasn’t far at all.
It is about - 20-30 minute walk to The Perlan Museum which we also highly recommend. It’s a relaxed walk and no rushing about.
We used Bus Stop 13 for our tours because it was a 2-3 minute walk down the road and so simple to get too.
Would highly recommend and we will be back.
Also recommend using maps.me if you don’t have data on your phone as it is very accurate and worked really well for us.
