Northern Lights - This is the perfect Hotel

Great Hotel for seeing the Northern Lights!
We had room 34, nice room, found the staff very friendly.
Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. We stayed B & B, had a snack
From the Bar menu, it was very good.
This Hotel can wake you up when the Northern Lights appear, we stayed
3 nights, and saw them 3 times and that’s with cloud forecasted.
We will return! Book via ‘Discover the World’,

Best night in Iceland

The front staff the restaurant staff were all so friendly and the property itself is absolutely amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Okay for overnight

The hotel is a little dated. The observatory was closed because it was cloudy when we were there. The room key is attached to a giant wood board so unless you have a big purse or wearing cargo pants then there’s no way to hide it. Our room had enough space for us though and the bed was comfortable. The porch was nice, good sit out there with your coffee. The bathroom tub and bath salts came in handy. The jetted tub helped our sore muscles and also good if you’re an introvert and don’t want to hang with random people in the outdoor tub. Dinner was good but I wasn’t a fan of breakfast. I didn’t like the omelette or the buffet items. Overall this was okay for an overnight stay.

Our stay at Hotel Ranga

The booking and communication was very smooth. Staff was always helpful and gave us good tips for side trips. Breakfast veriety was good but could have been restocked better. Food order for dinner took longer then it should have.

Northern Lights anniversary trip

What a wonderful place. The attention to detail was perfect. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The dining room served delicious food and the staff was attentive to all of our needs. One staff member even drove us to the Lava Center in her personal car when no drivers were available. It is a bit isolated, but we were always able to get where we needed. I highly recommend Hotel Ranga!
