Great Safe Hotel & Excellent Staff
We came with family & as part of a team. The staff was kind & friendly. Food at the restaurant was good. The beds were comfortable. It was surprisingly quitet. Well taken care of motel. The front door is locked & monitored so all is safe. Highly recommend them.

Somewhat disappointing
Always had to request towels. Most staff were pleasant except for two. They had an air about them that we were inferior. Had to watch where you walk as there was a small dog running around all day pooping wherever. The male receptionist was very friendly and courteous and helpful. Other than that the place was nice with a beautiful courtyard. Filtered water is available,

Please stay here!
We have had teams stay here for 10 years. The staff is very friendly, they care about you, the food is excellent. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. It is close to the market, central park and shopping.

Exactly what we wanted!
This hotel is exactly what we needed. I was here with a team and we all felt exceptionally well taken care of. Food was excellent, location was ideal, and the staff were wonderful even if we didn’t speak Spanish. The rooms were cleaned each day and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. We also felt safe with a secure entrance and 24/7 staff on duty. I would be happy to stay at this property again!

Clean, safe motel
Stayed 7 nights with a mission trip & we rented out the entire place because the group was so large.
We shared a king bed room which was spacious & bed was fairly comfortable. Bathroom small but fine with a shower. Room was cleaned every day. There is no safe for storing of valuables. The hot water ran out every morning & every evening because we filled all the rooms & that was disheartening after really long days of hard work to have a cold shower unless we got to the showers faster than some of our peers on the trip.
There is filtered water available throughout the hotel & you need to be very careful. Don’t brush your teeth or even rinse your mouth with tap water.
Also note - some windows are wood doors or shutters w/o glass. The rooms get very hot & uncomfortable & some mosquitoes do get in regardless as their are cracks around windows, etc. (cleaners left our bathroom window open every day so we always had a few mosquitoes in our room).
Breakfast & dinner was prepared for our group every day & overall was good. Unfortunately I got VERY sick, despite being really careful. At least 5 others became ill on the trip as well.
It was safe & clean & served our needs. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main square where all the restaurants & shops are. Wouldn’t suggest walking back alone at night. WiFi slow & spotty at best. Most had struggles with connections but there is some service. They do have a beautiful bird in the courtyard.
It’s my first time in Guatemala & have nothing to compare it to in this country. You can make it work. If I came back I’d try somewhere else.
