Frankfurt's heart

My hubby and I stayed her last February 21 - 23, 2025, we arrived late that evening, was very tired, was greeted by Madilyn in reception, she is such a wonderful lady, very accommodating and sweet, she gave a room in the 9th floor with balcony, every aspect of the room is outstanding, clean, bed and pillows are very relaxing, the buffet breakfast offers good choices and the staff are very attentive specially Marcel.who we met on Sunday morning and another lovely lady we met Saturday morning, unfortunately I forgot her name.
We are definitely coming back to this hotel this year with our friends.
One more thing, the hotel's location is superb, near restaurants, LIDL and the train stops just a few steps from the hotel

Used to be good, but now poor and vastly overpriced

We have been going to this hotel at least once a year for the last 4 years. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill. The swimming pool has been out of action for at least 2 years, clearly a decision to save money but they kept pretending it was "going to be working next week". The steam room is only working on request, which may or may not work. They didn't clean the rooms on at least one occasion and tried to make out it was our fault somehow. Breakfast is still good. We were going to visit again this Feb but the cost of a week had gone up to 1,400 euros so we went elsewhere this time. I am not sure how they expect to keep any customers other than those who visit for the first time.

Good business hotel

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Frankfurt Niederrad S-Bahn (city rail) station, making it one stop from the main train station. A tram runs from Niederrad station to the hotel.
The hotel is located in an office district and is especially suitable for business travelers. The hotel looks a bit old.
The reception was very friendly. What was unusual was that I had to pay for the room at check in.
The room clean and functional.
The shower is located in the bathtub.
The breakfast buffet was standard in other comparable hotels. The quality rather moderate, so sausage and cheese were packaged cheap supermarket products. The fruit salad also made a bought impression.
Positively noteworthy is the friendly service and the “Frankfurter Stube” as a rustic restaurant.
Overall a good hotel for business travelers.

The breakfast was nice, but it was crowded early in the morning with airline staff. The room was clean and cozy, shower booth with high water pressure, making it a cost-effective choice. While the location is quiet, there are no supermarkets or restaurants within walking distance. Underground parking is available but costs around €20 while street parking is an option, finding a spot can be challenging.

I was generally satisfied, but the plug in the bathroom was broken so I couldn't take a bath on the second day. The breakfast menu is basically the same every day, so I wonder if consecutive guests will get bored. I'm grateful to the staff who were kind enough to help me even though I spoke to them in poor English.
