We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough). The dryer did not work so back to hotel with damp washing. Immediately hotel stepped in to dry our damp washing and then insisted upon taking us to Villafranc and a return at 5.00pm - would not accept any payments. All-round went beyond normal to hewlp and make our stay a delight.

Perfect

Very warm welcome by all the staff.
The comfort of a very well maintained ***, an elevator is welcome for access to the upper floors.
We had a pleasant room with a clear view, the interior nicely decorated in a modern way. A rational layout made our installation pleasant.
The meal taken on the terrace took place in excellent conditions. We were satisfied with the content of the card.
Very generous breakfast with good products.
We are completely satisfied with this short stay.

One of the best traditional French hotels I’ve stayed in

My room was really nicely furnished with high quality bed and linen. Comfortable mattress and pillows. The bathroom was modern and the whole hotel spotlessly clean. Some people might find the decor old fashioned but I loved it - as a traditional French hotel it is perfect. Breakfast was simple and good value with excellent coffee and croissants. It would have been even better if it had a bar to sit in with friends, but even without this was a fabulous hotel. The service stands out as one of the best features - staff were super available and generous with their time.

Friendly hotel. Excellent breakfast. The room was comfortable with a fan. Beautiful scenery and ideal for hikers.

Very good hotel

Very warm welcome, very family atmosphere. Clean hotel. Very pleasant staff. The rooms are equipped with balconies and are cleaned every day. Small downside regarding the wifi connection. But apart from that, a very good week for my family and me.
