If the visitor is a relative or legal guardian of the child, a notarized consent of travel signed by both parents must be presented, along with photocopies of their IDs. If only one parent is traveling with their child, a notarized travel consent signed by the absent parent must be presented. Visitors planning to travel to Colombia with children should consult with the Colombian consulate prior to travel. Breakfast is not included for young children staying free of charge if their parents or guardians use existing beds. A children's breakfast is available for an additional fee. ADD : As per Colombia´s tax law, only tourists who have a Permit of Entry and Permanence, tourist permit category PT before PIP-3, or PIP-5, or PIP-6, or PIP-10 are exempt from paying 19% IVA taxes; or visa type V (Visitor) before Visa TP-11 or TP-12 or visa type M (Migrant) before TP -7 or visa type R (Resident). At the time of check-in at the hotel, the corresponding stamp or visa must be shown.

For stays on or after January 1, 2023, residents of Colombia and non-residents staying 60 consecutive days or more will be charged a 19% national sales tax by the property at the time of stay. Travelers on a tourist visa will not be required to pay this tax. The tax may be charged where a room is shared by a taxable and a non-taxable guest.
