Excellent facilities, friendly and professional service
Breakfast offered a lot of choice, including some "Western" style food. The top-floor swimming pool, with views out through the glass, is a "must -visit", as is the steam room. Everything struck me as very spacious and well laid-out, from the impressive reception to the corridors, rooms and gym.

Good sleep ... shame about the coffee letdown
The Oakwood is a long-stay type of place so keep this in mind when booking; some usual hotel facilities would either not be available or not in the form in which you would see it in a typical hotel. Having said that, we were pleasantly surprised about the size of the room. What stood out to me was the bed quality, amazing and super comfortable. The TV is of good size with a reasonable amount of international channels. WiFi was easy to use and reliable.
The bathroom is well equipped although I would have liked a slightly larger sink area. The shower has good pressure and consistent temperature.
The balcony is a nice feature although during our stay, the weather was quite cool and the pollution was very bad. I would not have found the washer if it had not been pointed out by our family member staying in another room.
Housekeeping was good, handling their work in a very silent and unintrusive way.
The only thing I really did not like is the fact that there is a nice Nespresso machine in the room but that guest are being nickel-and-dimed to buy capsules! Come on!!!
This brings me to the other service which was a bit of a let-down ... the breakfast. The buffet spread was quite boring, bread choice was terrible (especially in a place where a nice baguette or croissant is quite common) and the juices were of extremely poor quality. Back to the topic of Nespresso machine; why have a wonderful machine there but only use it for hot milk. Seriously!!!
In short, would I come again. Yes, I actually quite like the location and the rooms are comfortable. However, I would probably go for breakfast/lunch/dinner elsewhere.
