Check in was good. The lobby and breakfast area are nice. The room was somewhat dated and could have used a deeper clean. Didn't have time for breakfast though I heard from other guests it was good. This hotel is right off the interstate so there is a fair bit of noise. But it's a decent hotel.

Nothing good about this place
Quite possibly the worst hotel experience of my life. After a long exhausting motorcycle ride to get to the hotel I retired to my room to get some sleep, only to be awakened by deafening construction noise. I went to the front desk to complain and the clerk told me "I asked the guy to stop, but he wouldn't!" I'm not kidding. I had construction noise all 3 nights of my stay, and no, they didn't advertise or warn that any work was taking place prior to my stay. I asked for a manager to call me to discuss this and of course nobody did. Also, the front desk is rarely manned and they never answer the phone.
I figured that I'd watch some TV in the room then, and, lo and behold, the TV didn't work! They did send a maintenance guy up who managed to cobble together functionality by giving me 3 separate remotes to control the TV (one for power on/off, one to change channels, and one to change volume). The on/off remote quit working so, if I wanted to turn the TV on or off, I had to get out of bed and do it manually. Also the TV had the wrong room number, so things like hotel services (check out etc) did not work.
Here are a few more things:
The ice machine on my floor didn't work, but a helpful sign said I can go up 4 floors to the "working one"
The vending machines don't take credit cards so you have to have cash (welcome to the 70s).
The coffee in the lobby was luke warm and they CHARGE for water.
They did have a decent breakfast with hot eggs (terrible), sausage (decent) and waffles (good), but the area had overflowing trash cans and dirty surfaces.
Several of the rooms in my area had carpet coming up around the doorways for a tripping hazard.
I went out to the pool behind the hotel, only to discover that my room key wouldn't get me back in. I had to walk around the entire hotel to the lobby.
The conditioner in the shower had bottle designed to be squeezed, but they mounted it in the corner of the shower such you couldn't squeeze it. I bet they save a lot on conditioner that way!
Over all just an awful place.

Staff is friendly but the hotel is in need of updates. The room keys kept deactivating and when they did work, you had to open your door a certain way to get the door to open. WiFi was pretty spotty, the TV remote only worked if you were a foot from the sensor. These aren’t big things but they make a difference when you are trying to relax and enjoy a short stay.

Terrible Customer Service in a Rundown Hotel
Stayed here for five nights for a baseball tournament and spring training.
Customer Service was horrible- front desk staff and maintenance were crew ranged between unfriendly and rude depending on their mood.
My key card demagnetized 4-5x per day while staying on the fourth floor. it got to the point where I would just get a new card before even making the effort.
It rained in the afternoon one day and the staff locked the pool at 6pm. We had a 12u baseball team from WA and the only thing they want to do besides play baseball is swim. Staff was completely rude to the boys and some of our parents when we asked if they could open it as it hadn't rained in hours.
The AC/Fan system in most of the rooms barely worked and of course the beds and pillows were pretty bad.
Traveling as a group we are used to staying in economy hotels so I have fairly low expectations when it comes to amenities. The difference is that good customer service and a friendly attitude makes up for a lot and this placed couldn't even manage that. Pay a few extra bucks and stay somewhere else.

A very odd smell to the hotel. hotel keys didn't work and had to be rekeyed right away. room thermostat panel was taped onto the wall and didn't work. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful.
