Great Stay, Great Location, Great Location
Javier from Front Desk gave Best Old School Customer Service I have received in a long time. He made this stay as great as it was! Mauricio from Outside Bar was also great. The F & B Manager was not so great unfortunatley. Definitely will be back. We are locals always looking for a relaxing time.

I Wanted To Love It!!!
My stay at GalleryOne was interesting. I'll share pros and cons from my experience.
Check-In:
Pro: Allowed early check-in.
Con: We were charged for the total amount for the stay plus additional undisclosed deposits. I recall $100/ night. (It's not on the receipt.) I'm not sure if it's fair or ethical NOT to disclose this information during booking. I'm a Hilton Honors member and booked through Hilton.com.
Rooms/Building:
Pro: Large suites
Cons: Older construction. Issues like rust, paint chipping, cracks on doors, etc.
Location:
Pros: Great views of the waterway.
Within 15-20min walking distance to the beach.
Ability to catch the water taxi or Circuit (free rideshare).
Within 10-15min walking distance to Publix grocery and convenience stores.
Con: Not beachfront
Check-out:
Pro: Quick (via app, dropped off the key at the front desk)
Con/Major Issues: The elevators didn't work the day we checked out. We had to walk down 8 flights of stairs with luggage. There was no recompense, credit, or anything for the inconvenience.
Staff:
Pros: The staff at the Vue restaurant went above and beyond, especially Kelly. She was very professional, helpful, and fixed an issue with our food order.
The housekeeping staff was friendly.
Cons: I had mixed experiences with the front desk staff. They seemed professional and friendly; however, when faced with questions, some didn't give clear information. For example, I ordered a delivery from Shipt/Target. I inquired with them before placing the order to verify if they could receive the delivery if I wasn't there. She said it would be fine and my items would be on the table. HOWEVER, when the delivery arrived, the driver stayed because the staff said they couldn't handle deliveries or be held responsible. So they could just leave it at a table by the front door. (The staff didn't disclose or explain those specifics with me.)
Fortunately, my driver didn't feel comfortable leaving my items out unsupervised on a public table. She waited for me to get there.
OVERALL:
Honestly, I'd probably stay again because of the pros listed, especially the beautiful view and convenience. I would just lower my expectations.

Fake reviews.
We should have known when they couldn’t check us in 2 hours after check in time. Then the elevators were broken. We had to take the service elevator up. And it continued to get worse. As a diamond Hilton member, I should be upgraded and was given a room overlooking the dumpsters. The room was disguising and the furniture was ripped. There was a giant black hairball in the bathroom. So gross. We checked out and moved down the beach.

An embarrassment to Hilton
I travel all of the time for work and can always count on Hilton properties. This Doubletree; however, was a huge disappointment. Firstly, check-in set the pace for the entire stay. The front desk clerk acted as if I was a waste of her time. I can overlook things like that if the rest of the stay is good. In this case, it was not. I made it to my room only to be presented with a warm stinking room. I stood there appalled while trying to assess the conditions. Besides the very strange odor, the couch was the nastiest looking piece of furniture I've seen. No way anything I own is touching that. I ventured into the bedroom and it was actually ok. The bathroom was also manageable even though the carpet was frayed at the transition and the shower door wouldn't close. I had been up and traveling since 340am and I was too tired to deal with not-too-pleasant girl at the front desk to procure another room. I decided I'd try to make do, so I put all of my things on the dinner table in hopes of not introducing any unwanted bugs to my luggage. I took a wet paper towel and wiped up the dirt from the kitchen floor and then tried to get some air going. I turned the air down, but there was hardly any air coming out of the vents. On closer inspection, I could see that the filter was completely clogged. I took it out and only then did I get air to blowing. Once again, I didn't want to talk to Ms personality, so I decided to wait to another day. I will say, once it cooled down in the room, I was able to sleep well. The bed was very comfortable. I tried out the breakfast one morning and while the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the carpet in the restaurant was stained with traffic patterns and gave the impression of filth. I visited the lounge a couple of evenings after a long days work and had my usual Hilton experience. Very friendly and competent bar tender. It's always enjoyable meeting and talking with other travelers and this offset a bit of the unpleasantries encountered in my stay. Overall though, if my experience is the norm, I'd definitely suggest others find an alternative place to stay.

Rodrigo!!
I got to the hotel the day before all my friends and Rodrigo (the bartender) made me feel right at home! He was soo friendly and made sure I was always hydrated ☺️ Hands down the best staff member here!!! He knew all his drinks and even had recommendations!!
