Fantastic stay. Beautiful location we felt like lords of the manor. A real rustic first class hotel. Felt like we were living in upper class 1923.
Food was also outstanding Jacob cooked a steak that was better than miller and carter. We will return excellent views from room 25.

We had to change our booking - a long story but Sally at front desk was helpful in making sure everything was sorted. It's a shame we had to check out a day earlier than planned as our first night there was excellent - I slept brilliantly. If they could offer more dog friendly rooms, we could have stayed a second night.

We stayed in room 30, really nice room on the second floor. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. The only thing that let it down was the bed. Every time you moved, it creaked quite loud. Unfortunately we had little sleep because of it which affected our plans for the next day
