A beautiful place like the sea
We had abandoned our car. We had a lot of necessary things with us. In the shop on the square you got everything that was important, certainly also for a small additional fee.
The campsite also has a bus service to nearby Karlstad (every 30 minutes).
The plumbing was clean. There are also kitchens with stove, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer.
We had camped. The area for the tents is very small but close to the shore. Otherwise, the site is predominantly characterized by permanent campers and motorhomes.
We spent the days bathing, reading cooking or eating in the restaurant of the place. For us an absolute Recommendation!

The location of the tent site meant that we will not come again!
The ground was rock hard so the tent pegs could not be knocked down.
It reeked of latrine from containers buried in the ground.

A week family holiday with two adults and two young children and a dog.
We thought this was well rigid to be two rooms, a small living room combined with a tiny kitchen and a bathroom. This cabin has received very hard work and no apparent maintenance. When we got there we found pills in the bedroom closet, a pair of socks under the couch, under the couch and two pieces of meatballs and a lot of dust. Otherwise in the cabin it was not cleaned to say so. Toilet paper was only 1 and 1/2 roll off when we arrived. Which is very strange when you have booked the cottage for 1 week.
But yes, vilavagn 3 should be closed for renovation.
The terrace draws our entire stay a lot up but had it been bad weather then I would have regretted every single krone we put on this cabin. Something so expensive for something so small and not cared for was dizzying.
The campsite itself is superior to many other campings we have been on and this is why we came back. But with these prices one expects a lot much much more.
