The Restaurant is good, the room was fine, although the bed was pretty soft.
What I found strange: The room needed to be paid upon arrival, so the meal etc. was charged separate. And they ask for a surplus for the Creditcard transactions. Something I never faced before. It isn't the end of the world, but I found a plus of more than 10 Euro for 2 transactions are strange

Disappointment. Far too expensive for what you get.

We were in a double room where only a bed could fit and the bathroom had to be reached with a sliding door. You pay € 200 for this which I think is a really bad price quality ratio. Coffee/tea making facilities are nothing. You have folding chairs if you want to sit and then you're wedged between bed and wall.
Only good: beds were fine and it was clean.

Apple strudel with 3 drops of sour sauce!

We ate at the restaurant in Joure, first of all we had to wait a very long time, while there were only a few guests. I feel like there's a cook from a retirement home in the kitchen. The monthly menu was faint in taste, the pumpkin soup was too thin and tasteless. The stew could also be spicier. Finally, the apple strudel that had a few stripes of vanilla sauce over it, while I had already asked for double the amount. It wasn't a real one, but I think it was made with cottage cheese or something. My tablemates also found the food not so tasteful and whether it was prepared with care. Bit of a shame.

Bad

Food was lukewarm far vsn hot ..the chicken satay seemed to heat up quickly. Potted carrots no taste and limp.
Salad very monotonous and chips did not look fresh.
No friendly staff..
Came in between also niwt ask if everything was satisfactory. Too bad.

Our stay in the hotel was okay, not too bad, not very good. Rooms are small, a kind of bit fancy budget hotelroom although for a nice hotelroom price. Bathroom small and not very practical.
Breakfast was good but quite pricy (19 EUR).
