We spent a week in Cozumel at Iberostar. We decided to stay a few extra days, so we booked two nights at El Cid. Wow, what a difference in the room quality - we were blown away at how much nicer the room was for 1/3 of the Iberostar price. The service and food were excellent too. Our only complaint was that the check-in process was a little inefficient. We are going back in two months!

The view from the resort and the staff were amazing. The food they had was very good, but when we booked our vacation there were 2 restaurants for the all inclusive. When we arrived, 1 had closed and reopened as not part of the all inclusive. For the price the resort wasn’t bad.

wonderful location for access to scuba diving (dock pickup), pool area was allways active with events and food, very clean gardens everywhere. seafoid and fiod in general were top notch

El Cod treats us like family every time we go. They recognize us as frequent guests. They uphraded us this past stay to Elite suite.
