Great for a short stay!
Check in and check out were easy, rooms were clean with comfortable beds and bathroom and also very spacious.
The only down part was not having coffee/tea making facilities in the room and a small cup of coffee from the restaurant is a bit overpriced at almost $2USD. The rooms do come with a small ironing board and iron, a safe in the closet and television.
The restaurant, Los Alcatraces Restaurant, was not very good. I had a beef fajita meal made from a cow probably older than me; good grief it was tough.
For some reason traditional Mexican restaurants are not very popular oddly enough. Seems Chinese places are the top restaurants in and around the area. If you are in need of snacks there are several OXXO and 7-11 stores nearby with both having a location a one-minute walk from the hotel.
Due to the location and price I would say this is good hotel for a short stay in Guadalajara.
