Perfect location on the banks of the Mekong, we were welcomed by Eric a Frenchman in place here for 12 years who gave us all good advice and knew how to help us for rentals, taxi call etc...
The accommodation is simple and efficient, functional and comfortable.

Hidden gem in Luang Prabang

This is our first time visiting Luang Prabang, and we googled a lot of hotels before this trip. In the end we choose here to stay, surprisingly, the guesthouse has everything we expect. Let alone the super friendly and comforting vibes, when we ask for any recommendations of massage. The gentleman at front desk offered some stores with reasonable price.
In terms of security, we feel absolutely safe when spending 3 nights there.

Loved this gem of a place!

What a gem of a place. I loved my room. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It's a perfect location; an easy walk to the sites and across the street from the river. The host was so very nice and chill. I would definately stay again. Luang Prabang is amazing.

A wonderful place to stay!

I spent a full month on a project in Luang Prabang and initially booked only 3 nights at Khem Khoung Guest House. Right away I knew I could be content there so booked the rest of the month. A month is a long time but Eric and Goo made me feel very welcome and at home. They really helped create a wonderful experience for me. As others say, it is very clean, good wifi, convenient supply of tea and coffee, hot water in the shower, AC and good bedding. It is small but that isn't unusual for such places in Luang Prabang. Thank you Eric and Goo for making me feel so happy every day! You are the greatest!
