Stay in a renovated special room. It was very good.
Room. I used the Japanese-style bedroom twin room (without the Japanese-style room of 8 tatami mats). It was a special room renovated late last year. The bath is not open-air but inside with a large window. The bath is said to be hot spring water. A room on the top seven floors. It's so beautiful. Posters were also posted inside the hotel. Even more notable is the size of the room wall TV. As far as I know (I stayed 95 nights in 37 locations in Itoen) it is probably the largest guest room TV in Itoen Hotel. Two bottles of free mineral water are available (a rarity at Itoen Hotel). There was also an air purifier.
Meals. The Bomb Mushroom Menchi and Seasonal Fried Food Fair is on in October. It is a normal Itoen hotel meal without luxury. There is no live kitchen. All-you-can-drink alcohol (characteristics of Itoen Hotel?). ☆ 3.5
Front desk entertainment. I am impressed by the smile and the polite response. How about a karaoke at check-in? Would you like some table tennis? I was asked, ☆5.
The biggest difficulty is the parking lot. I arrived at the hotel around 15:30. I was directed to the third parking lot away. It was pretty muddy down there. I was made to wait in front of the hotel and came back to the front desk after 16:00. Chuck-in is at 15:00, but some guests come around 12:00 noon, so they need to arrive by 14:00 to use the first parking lot in front of the hotel (parking staff's comment). ☆3
Large bath. Iizaka Onsen, one of the three major hot springs in Tohoku (I hope there is some highlight of the walk). An elderly man I happened to meet in the elevator told me that it was spacious and comfortable. There is no open-air bath or sauna. ☆4
The hotel is very crowded, and in October and November every year it is fully booked (front desk) and the price. The cheapest price is 16,830 yen. I realize that Itoen is on the side of the common people. This time, however, because of the special room, 32,530 yen ($16,270) was a bit expensive.

コスパはいい。第一駐車場に止めたいなら、早くチェックインを。
駐車場は２カ所あるようですが、ホテルの前にある第一駐車場はスペースが狭く、翌日の予定の関係でどうしてもそこに車を止めたかったので、チェックイン時間（午後３時）の10分前に行きましたが、同じ事を考えている方が多いらしく、ぎりぎりでした。また、食事時間は３パートに分けられており、入れ替え制（夕食70分、朝食50分）です。

安価に温泉とバイキングを楽しみたいなら
2食付きプランにすると、近場（徒歩圏で行くには駅前になるので厳しいかも）にコンビニがないので、調達する手間がなく、楽です。
館内も少々、くたびれた感も感じる宿ではありますが、宿泊価格で考えるとお値打ちでした。
仕事でガンガン利用するにはWifiがちょっと、心細いかなというところはあります。通常のウェブ閲覧であれば、気になりません。
出張利用でしたが、カラオケルームも新しめの機器を使うことができて、気分転換できました。
結構、利用客が多いようですが、隣の部屋に滞在者がいても、音は気にならないです。
