The only two downsides were: 1) the apartment does not view the street or an open space, there is ongoing construction at the building next door and it is not a good view as it blocks most light. There is also significant noise from the construction works
2) sadly, I was unable to get a later checkout which meant I had to rush my final day and arrive too early at the airport
I will say, these two factors are outside the control of the host. Other than these two things, I truly loved Athens, and I would recommend the property to others. Both Chris and MGV were highly professional, friendly, kind, and made me feel welcomed in Athens. I am now back home in the U.K. and I already miss walking the streets of that ancient city in the sun. I can’t wait to return to Athens next year
