Friendly & accommodating!
We had booked four days and wanted to leave sooner because of the bad weather, which was possible without any problem!!!
The rooms are very clean!
The style is a bit “old fashioned”, but fits the overall picture!
Breakfast is also great!

Great stay. Best location.
Best location literally at the entrance of the old town with all the restaurants and shops at your door step. At check-in we were offered a package that included breakfast and parking for an extra 20 €. Parking is about 100 meters from the hotel. Flossenbürg which was the reason for our stay is at a 15 minute drive.
Room was super clean, with all the amenities expected except for a coffee/tea station. We missed having hot herb teas at night or coffee in the morning. There was a bathtub which was appreciated. TV was lacking English news channels; no BBC nor CNN ( maybe it’s a positive point after all…)
We booked the spa which we had for ourselves. The spa is large enough with 2 or 3 saunas (only one was working), showers, jacuzzi (which we had to pay about 20€ extra to use but it was prepared specially for us) , a relax area with chaises and an outside section as well to cool off after sauna. I think there was an other sauna outside but it wasn’t in function neither. Towels and sandals are provided. You had to reserve in advance and it seems that you must book a la carte services. There was a massage room as well and a small / basic gym.
Very good continental breakfast. Buffet style with ample offer including boiled eggs. No gluten free bread was available but I had brought mine as I didn’t ask for it at time of reservation so it wasn’t really expected nor was it a problem.
All the staff members were nice and qualified.
Should we return to that beautiful town, we would choose to stay there again.

Please note that the breakfast package, you mentioned, is 12 EUR per person per night and includes our buffet breakfast, the parking in the parking garage P1 and the use of the sauna- and relaxation area (except the jacuzzi).

You are right, there is no BBC or CNN on the TVs, but we offer several SKY Premium channels, which can be switched to english language in the TVs menu settings. Please contact the front desk for more details on that.
If you contact us in advance, we will be happy to arrange gluten free bread and rolls for breakfast as well as a kettle/water heater, cups and teabags in your room. Freshly brewed coffee can always be ordered in our bistro from 7 am to 9 pm.
