Nice cozy restaurant

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff who will do anything for you. Too bad that there is no air conditioning or fan in the rooms. Here the room gets temp and does not cool down at night. Beds are good though and se room is neat and clean. Point of criticism is that dinner can only be chosen from fish, meat or vegetarian. If this is not your taste then there is no other choice.

Seehotel in the green

This hotel is definitely recommended, beautiful comfortable room, very clean and very friendly staff who will assist you with everything. Special luxurious breakfast buffet that is constantly being replenished. All the staff always dress beautifully. Definitely worth repeating.

Dedicated team with very good cuisine.

Everyone is very friendly and committed. Great food, clean rooms. The hotel has a clear "patina" on the furniture and facade. 6 minutes walk to the lake. Plenty of parking (we had around 60 cars with around 100 guests over 4 days).
Large conference room and good wellness area.

Nice short break

We had booked a package with 3 nights and half board. We were greeted very warmly on arrival. The hotel is decorated in a country house style, we really liked the restaurant/breakfast room. The wellness area is also attractively designed. Unfortunately, the furniture in our room (205) was not to our taste, but that's not our fault. One thing to complain about in the bathroom is that it is really very narrow between the toilet and the sink. The room and bathroom were very clean, even the radiator was dust-free from top to bottom. The breakfast was varied, and there was always enough topping up. The food was good. At dinner we could choose between soup and salad as a starter, meat, fish or vegetarian as a main course, and there was no choice of dessert. Unfortunately, we had the same choice of main course twice in 3 dinners (Sunday and Tuesday). That should be changed. There are 2 meal times for breakfast and dinner, which you have to decide on in advance.
There is a terrace in front of and behind the hotel, but it wasn't in use yet. So it was very quiet in the room. There is also an archery facility behind the hotel.
ALL the staff were extremely friendly.

Recommended

Located close to the Bostalsee in northern Saarland, this hotel boasts a very inviting reception and restaurant area. The superior room with balcony was clean and spacious enough, but unfortunately not facing the lake. Friendly staff and the excellent quality of the food in the restaurant also contribute to the feel-good character of the hotel. The breakfast was good, although the warm items were lukewarm at best. We liked the small wellness area with swimming pool and Finnish sauna. In addition, various spa treatments can be booked in the neighboring building. Overall, a very satisfactory stay.
