Fantastic
The hotel is so nice and central and it is everything you need for a wonderful stay. Can recommend the hotel without restriction. Staff totally nice. Great selection at breakfast., Mega stylishly decorated. Just wonderful all around!

Hotel reception is lovely, room is really big, bed a little on the hard side, maybe this was the only thing we didn't love from the hotel. Breakfast was good, everything single employee was attentive and kind. Location is really good, beautiful neighborhood.

Perfect hotel and service .. the receptionist were so kind and helpfull.. close to old town and small bakery’s which has delicious food… from train station by walking 15 min…

An all-round nice stay
A very nice, stylish hotel with perfect location. The rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast is very rich. The staff were friendly and helpful. In the meantime, there was a problem with the ventilation of our room, but the error could be fixed relatively quickly. We will definitely come back.

Not that nice; not a 4-star experience
First the positives: good location. Heated towel rack in room.
Negatives: No elevator-- steep steps instead. Mattress felt cheap (and hard). First morning, my wife's shower turned cold after a couple of minutes. While the room was somewhat big, very little storage space, table space, or seating space. We tried to get a morning cup of coffee (from Le Colombier hotel, which is where check-in is for this hotel). Nope, they won't sell--or give-- you a cup of coffee. (Note that this building only has rooms-- 10 maybe. No lobby, no seating, nothing but a staircase and some rooms.)
I don't understand how it can be considered a 4-star hotel. Maybe because it has an in-room safe? Very disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment following your stay in our hotel Le Colombier Suites.
We are delighted that you appreciated the location of our hotel which is in the heart of the Christmas markets, as well as the heated towels in the bathroom.
Concerning the building of the Colombier Suites which is divided in 13 rooms on three levels, all our guests receive an e-mail explaining that this historic Alsatian house is only accessible by stairs and that if you have some mobility problems our team can transfer you to the Colombier with elevator. Concerning the mattress, you have to know that they have been changed 3 years ago. Our Superior and Deluxe rooms are smaller than our suite rooms which have always a living room area, and you reserved a Superior room of 15 square meters. When our front desk team call you in the room few minutes after your check in, you tell them that everything was fine. If you wanted to change the room category, our front desk team can propose you another room more in line with your expectations. We thank you for letting us know about the hot water problem you had in the morning and we directly call the technician who comes to repair the boiler beginning afternoon. In order, to thank you, we have offered you a bottle of crémant. Rest assured that we renewed our 4-star hotel classification last October and that all the criteria meet French standards.
Not wishing to leave you with a bad experience, we hope to have the chance to welcome you again during a future stay and we will be happy to give you a room in the Colombier.
