One night at Kasane

A poorly managed and poorly maintained establishment
The rooms have benefited from minimal renovation, but the electrical installation is very messy, and overall, maintenance is poor. The bedding (140x200) will be a little tight for tall people; it is soft but comfortable. The environment is calm and guarantees peaceful nights. The bathroom has basic but recent equipment. It is relatively clean, but the shower joints have mold.
Decent breakfast with a small, fairly complete buffet and eggs served on request. Orange juice only has the color (older people will recognize the Tang from their childhood). The food served at lunch as at dinner is basic and uneven (good vegetable soup, decent quiche vs. stuffy lygomme pizza), but above all the service is extremely slow: allow at least half an hour after ordering (for bowl of soup of the day!)
The staff who provide the service are moderately dynamic and smiling, even sometimes sullen, while the women who do the cleaning are smiling and cheerful.
The activities offered are entirely recommendable and carried out seriously, both the excursion on the river and the safari in Chobe Park.
