Relaxing couples escape

We stayed two nights in cottage 1. We were impressed by the little touches; champagne in the fridge, cheese platter for afternoon tea, breakfast platter for the next morning, coffee pods with a variety of choices and the chocolates.
The bed was very comfortable and the views spectacular from the spa and balcony.
The surrounding gardens and birdlife were beautiful with a kookaburra and a peacock coming to visit.
I would definitely recommend staying here.

Peaceful Paradise in the rainforest

Every detail was covered with our relaxing - child free stay. Such a beautiful setting and lovely presented cottage. We loved every minute. We felt secluded and private in our own little bubble. The only thing missing was a restaurant.

Relaxing private getaway

Could not fault a thing. On entry to our cottage there was a fire going and soft music,
with champagne and chocolates as well as a cheese platter waiting for us. So immaculately clean. Stayed 2 nights another one would have been great. Definately don't stay just one. Hard to believe there is 3 other cottages on the property.Very private and georgeous views.

Amazing

Sometimes many superlatives may seen unrealistic for readers - but these cottages are indeed something beyond special. Our 3 days here began with friendly helpful responses to my enquiries and booking was so easy. The cottage when we arrived blew our minds - tranquil location amidst nature; clean, inviting and beautiful décor. I describe it as "subtle perfection". The location is ideal if exploring this region is what you are looking for, but equally to just kick back and relax. Bed is very comfortable. The electric "wood fire" provides a pleasant ambience and enough warmth on those cooler evenings. Breakfast was delicious and especially enjoyable when made on the Webber and eaten on the verandah and shared with the locals - very friendly (but not pushy) kookaburras. I rarely go to the same place twice, but this will definitely be the exception. Thank you Andy for making our stay so special and memorable for all the best reasons. H&D

Getaway

The perfect couples getaway, enjoyed a couple of very relaxing days at Montville Oceanview Cottages. Tastefully decorated, offering privacy in a private bush land setting. Large glass windows encompassing the beauty of the outdoors. An excellent breakfast pack provided with juice, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns and more. Thank you for a great stay!
